Promoting Independence and Inclusion is crucial when it comes to adults with developmental disabilities. The goal at I.V.I. Adult Services is to create an environment where clients feel welcomed and included during community-based activities. We are an exceptional care facility for individuals with developmental disabilities or complex special needs. Our goal is to promote their independence and social inclusion while assuring the safety and well-being of each and every client.
At I.V.I. Adult Services, we encourage all our clients to participate in community-based or domestic activities. Our clients enjoy our weekly movie/game nights, homemade pizza, in-home cooking classes, arts and crafts or going on hikes. All our clients love visiting places like Aerosports Trampoline Park, CN Tower or going to the Rogers Centre for sporting events. In order to help clients live their lives to the fullest and to keep them engaged at every stage, staff members will sit with clients to help them build vision boards and ensure clients complete their goals in a realistic time frame.
